Ed has decades of leadership experience across a wide array of transactional, legal, and management roles in acquisition sourcing, financing transactions, M&A structuring, execution and integrations, corporate management, complex corporate legal matters, public and private company governance, and legislative and regulatory initiatives. Ed has been involved in structuring and executing transactions with total value well over $30 billion.
As General Counsel and EVP for Strategic Initiatives & Government Affairs at Archaea Energy, Ed led that firm’s legal and risk management functions and helped drive its strategic development efforts, ultimately resulting in the sale of the company to BP for more than $4 billion.
Previously, Ed was Executive Vice President for MacAndrews & Forbes, a diversified holding company with a portfolio of investments across a wide range of industries. Ed began his career as an M&A and finance attorney at Skadden, Arps in New York and Milan.
Ed holds a BA degree from Rutgers University, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a JD from New York University School of Law.
