Shay has more than two decades’ experience designing and leading performance improvement and process optimization initiatives at midsize to large companies in a wide variety of industries, including particularly deep experience in healthcare, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Immediately before joining QCG, Shay served midsize companies in management, operations, process improvement, and strategic planning consulting engagements, where he facilitated cost reduction and expense management improvements. Previously, he was a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, where he focused chiefly on healthcare performance and process improvement, supply chain and cost optimization, M&A, transformation, and productivity engagements. Before that he was the Vice President of Field Operations at The Audit Group, Inc. where his expertise included deploying advanced technological solutions to work hand-in-hand with cost-effective operational strategies and advising and mentoring the leadership talent overseeing key clients.
Shay was also previously a senior consultant with Ernst & Young, where he helped shape its then-new supply chain and accounts payable offerings.
Shay holds a BS with double majors in accounting and finance and a minor in mathematics from Indiana University and a master’s degree in business administration with specializations in strategy and finance from New York University.
